Development Before Results!

Ever since I was 7 years old, David has took me under his wing as a student. I played club soccer on and off, but my real commitment was to Forza. My relationship with Coach David has been going for about 9 years now and I am grateful for everything he has done for me. Without him, I wouldn’t have had the opportunities that I have. It was the first 5 years of Forza that he really polished up my skills. During our trainings, he would always challenge me even if I felt kind of lazy that day. And because of that, I am where I am today. To me, one of his best drills for soccer technique is “tennis ball tapping/juggling.” Although it has a steep learning curve, it definitely helped step up my game. Not only did he help me in training, but he also took me to International Tournaments and Try Outs like Germany and Holland.

As well as a relationship off the field, my dad and I would always have our scheduled lunch with him before training for the past year. He would also tell us about his past experiences, so I really got to know him more through that. I have always looked up to him and I am appreciative that I have a coach like him in my life. He is one man that I will never forget.

I have been training at Forza for 6 years now and I am so thankful for everything it has done for me. From the very first training session I was hooked, I knew that this was the best training I was going to find because I witnessed a 5 year old kid do things not even a 20 year old experienced player could do. Forza has been like a second home for me ever since and it has made me into the player I am today and is the reason why I kept playing soccer all these years. I would have never been able to get a scholarship to a D1 University without the push David gave me throughout the years. I am so thankful for the opportunities of being looked at by professional coaches both in France and Germany and for the experience of playing internationally. I trained at many other facilities before Forza but nothing compares, the training is so unbelievably effective and the energy and motivation you get from everyone there gives you an even better chance of getting where you want to be. I spent 2 of my birthdays traveling or training with David and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Forza will forever be my second home and I am so grateful to be apart of the Forza family.

Thank you for everything David!

I began my training with David at the mere age of 8. On my first day of training he brought out a bucket full of tennis balls. It was at that moment I realized that this guy took soccer training to a whole new level. “If you can do it with a tennis ball then doing it with a soccer ball will be a piece of cake”, he stated as he dumped the balls out onto the floor. “Trapping a tennis ball out of the air is as easy as riding a bike”. What he meant by this is that you use a pedaling motion, exactly like riding a bike, to control the ball. Right before he dismissed us from the training session, David articulated a quote that I still live by to this day; “Practice doesn’t make perfect, practice perfect makes perfect”. I told my mom about all the fun I had at training when I got home, and insisted that she take me again the next morning. A key aspect as to why David’s training is so effective is that he has the ability to make it fun. And if I’ve come to learn anything over my career in soccer, it’s that you play your best when you’re having fun.

While David is an excellent trainer and can get you to whatever level of soccer your heart desires, the thing that I’ll cherish most about him is our friendship and mentoring that he’s provided me for the past 11 years. Forza is an excellent place for you to grow as a soccer player, but more importantly, a wholesome individual. Pay close attention to the things that David tells you because more often than not, they can be applied to your life outside of soccer as well as in it. Over the years I’ve come to call Forza my second home, in which I’ve met many of my best friends. Forza is by far the best thing that’s happened to me, and I’m lucky to have met such an amazing individual like David. Much like Olive Garden, “When you’re here, you’re family”.

Thank you so much for everything David!

Hi! My name is KK Preheim and I am ten-years-old. I have trained at Forza for the last year. It is awesome! I love playing with older kids at Forza and they teach me a lot of stuff and correct me when I am doing something wrong. For example, they told me to get wider so the defender would not get the ball. Coach David and Coach Abraham are great coaches. They are strict but nice at the same time. They have taught me ways to go around bigger girls in the game. I think Forza has made me a better soccer player.
